About us .... as a couple with an unusual approach to art, life, and creating. We have fun seeing what is possible with objects discarded, such as cutlery, old garden implements, and almost anything metal that is thought to have outlived it's usefulness or original form. Gord has gone from being a well known chainsaw carver, to the movie industry, cold-cast bronze sculpture, marble, painting, and now exploring the limitless world of used metal. His art work has been purchased by people all over the world. Pieces known not just for their beauty, but Gord creates also with a sense of humour and whimsy. Heather, commercial and graphic artist, teacher, and slightly off the wall artist. Heather also creates art pieces in recycled metal, from jewelry, to rain chains, and larger metal sculptures when she can get welder time. Teamed up with Gord, making Pleasant St. Studio a place to smile, use your imagination and hopefully see some art piece that you just cannot live without !! Even if you just leave our eceletic with a smile on your face our job is done.
